In this experience of Fado in Algarve you go back in time and enjoy the most traditional type of music from Portugal.

In this stylish venue with space for over 40 people, equipped with a multimedia system and a real fado atmosphere due to its decoration. Fado music has been Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2011.

In our venue you can enjoy a 35-minute live music performance with Portuguese guitar, classical guitar and vocals, presenting some of the most representative traditional fados from our extensive repertoire.

The show of Fado in the Algarve consists of a video presentation showing some of the most emblematic moments and images of fado music, followed by a live performance of traditional fado, accompanied by explanations in different languages about its content.

In the end you will have a port wine tasting, accompanied by the best dried fruits of the Algarve and ‘folar’ (traditional Easter cake). The total duration is 1 hour.

You will also find some merchandise for the visitor to purchase, as well as other advisory material about Fado and an exhibition of musical instruments.

We also present a special show every Saturday in the Misericórdia Church, which benefits from better acoustics in an impressive historic setting.
