Monchique and Silves Tour with Wine Tasting

SILVES TOUR AND THE COUNTRYSIDE!

We will visit the historic village of Silves. A must see is the castle, where we will get to know this fantastic building in more detail. Also the cathedral of Silves right next door is calling us and we will go there!

We will visit the Archeology Museum of Silves, a unique place, full of historical pieces that tell the history of the region.

After that, it’s off to the mountains! First stop at the Thermal Spa of Caldas de Monchique, a very picturesque place full of history and an incomparable natural beauty. We will see some famous thermal springs.

The small village of Monchique is quite cozy, and we can walk in its small streets. Then we go to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve with 902 meters altitude, we could have a 360º view of breathtaking.

On the way back to Lagos we will drive to a winery where we will have a wine tasting.
